I love how Shanghai really is the land of opportunity. Anyone can take an idea and turn it into something tangible and actually become quite successful. Cost of living is relatively cheap (although it's getting more expensive) which makes living quite easy. The mere fact that I haven't done my own laundry or cleaned my own bathroom in 5 years makes me love this city. But I also love the fact that Shanghai is such an international city and I probably haven't been to the same restaurant more than 3 times.

Love the little blurbs from you. I find it funny that a couple years ago when I moved to China I read all the other articles and stuff and now that I'm married and have an almost 1 year old I am always reading your article. FUNNY!
I can totally relate to your situation. I keep telling my wife that same line. Remember when he was just lying there? Remember when it was easy to change his diaper? Remember when we were propping him up just so he could sit up? Remember when we could put him in the crib and he would stay there? Remember when he bit and it was cute??
Love it now. He won't come back to this stage again... drink it in. That's what we keep saying... love the stages now...
