The Olympic and Paralympic venue for weightlifting, the university's gym has been renovated to hold 6,000 people, with new state-of-the-art systems recently installed. The weightlifting platform itself is 12m by 12m. The whole thing will return to being a gym for the university after Olympic events have ended.
