The Beijing branch of this well-known Lhasan eatery brings traditional Tibetan cuisine east. With a colorful and cozy setting, this establishment specializes in yak meat and barbecued lamb. The friendly service and upbeat atmosphere make for a lively dining experience. Avoid the tasteless tsampa at all costs.

Our first Tibetan restaurant and we loved it. The food was delicious. Take Frommers advice and get the tashi dalek (Spelled wrong, probably) but it was delicious. The entertainment was phenomenal, and now, we are inspired to travel to Tibet! I added some photos.

Good food, funny entertainment and nice environment. That day, I didn't like so much their "bread" (I don't remember how they call it), it was just a little bit rubbery, but it's a special place, with a good value for money.

One of Beijing's must-try restaurants. Go to feel like you've been transported to Tibet or for a temporary crush on one of the beautiful performers. The 'hot stone lamb' is a must try, as are the cheese balls (though there's isn't even a slight hint of cheese flavor) and the spinach purée.

A wonderful experience! The place is very beautiful, with authentic decorations and the staff is very patient and friendly with limited, but sufficient knowledge of English.
The food is delish! Try grilled mushrooms, curry potatoes and yak with potatoes. Hot stone lamb is very good too!
The thick naan bread wasn't very good, so if you do go for naan, try the think one. Also the spinach soup was watery and only so-so.
Overall, I'd say it's a Beijing must-try!

good place, and nice show.. But with the new menu, the prices have increased....
