Every Saturday and Sunday, the PTP club organizes a trip to the unrestored Great Wall, where you'll get to ride horses, go hiking and climbing and enjoy swimming. The day also includes a small tour of a rural village, as well as opportunities for bungee jumping and boating. RMB400, with discounts for larger groups.

1 day tour on EVERY weekend

Start out at 9am, we go to our destination by high speed coach, visit local farmer's courtyard, crops, fruit trees, pet dogs, swallows and their love nests... You will taste typical farmer's lunch (including fish barbecue, Wild Vegetables...), then we ride horse and climb the WILD UNRESTORED Great Wall.

The horses are well fed by local farmers. They are meek so the safety is guaranteed. When the horse is running, you should grasp the saddle tightly and lean your body forward, as same as leaning your body forward when climbing up the mountain on horseback. When you are riding horse down the mountain, you should lean your body backward. If your horse runs too fast, you can draw rein to slow it down.

If you like, you can do hiking along the wild unrestored great wall for a longer time, to feel and experience the wild nature beauty which is totally different with the rebuilt walls.

Another choice is visiting the big film shooting center, where you will see many ancient Chinese style buildings and you can take pictures of dressing in ancient Chinese classic clothing. If you are lucky, you can watch the film shooting on spot. Entry ticket will cost you RMB40.

Will return back to Beijing city at 7pm.

Charge: RMB400/per person (more people more discount), including transport, lunch, riding horse, climbing Great Wall, swimming and guide service.
