Microphone mania today — the top bidder of Wang Minglu crosstalk works got the media in a frenzy — and ended up on the front cover of the Wanbao. On the front page in big headlines, though, is bad news: 7 cases of H1N1 was found in one primary school. That's 21 new in all for the day...
Ever experienced this? In our article of the day on page 6, a certain Yikang Juneng health club in Chunshuyuan, just on Xuanwumen Outer Street, shut its doors right after it finished accepting new fitness club members. Renovation works were scheduled for July 1 — 31, but nobody — not even employees — were told. The police, of course, were summoned promptly.
